FOR HER
1) Tea: Mariage Frères or Dammann Frères
Both of these French brands make amazing, high quality tea & sell them in beautifully presented tins, boxes, or bags. One bag of tea is about 8 €, and a tin is about 15 €.
Mariage Frères can easily be found at Galeries Lafayette Maison : 35 Boulevard Haussmann, 75009 Paris.
Or you can visit one of their many boutiques
Dammann Frères can be found at the Marché de Noel on the Champs-Elysées or at one of their 4 boutiques. Here’s the address for their store at Place des Vosges : 15 Place des Vosges, 75004 Paris.
2) Candles: Diptyque or La Belle Meche
La Belle Meche is a really fun brand that I found at Galeries Lafayette Maison (35 Boulevard Haussmann, 75009 Paris). Their medium sized candles are 24 € which is a reasonable price considering they offer unique scents and neat packaging.
Diptyque is a more classy brand and thus more expensive. A small candle at Dyptique is 24 €. But their scents are amazing (My fav is Mimosa!) and they do a great job at gift wrapping. These can be found at Galeries Lafayette’s main store : 40 Boulevard Haussmann, 75009 Paris.
3) Chanel Nail Polish
20-25 €
Here’s the trick: You need to go to a Chanel boutique! A Chanel nail polish isn’t as nice unless it’s all wrapped up in their signature paper and put in a chic little Chanel bag. Remember, you’re paying for the name. Might as well get your money’s worth. They have a boutique at Galeries Lafayette : 40 Boulevard Haussmann, 75009 Paris.
4) L’Occitane en Provence body wash
L’Occitane products are great little French gifts for her. How about a relaxing shower gel for only 15 € ?
They have many shops in Paris but here’s the address for the one in the 9th arrondissement : 8 Rue Halévy, 75009 Paris, France.
5) Jewelry from the French brand Agatha
Although usually on the more expensive side, Agatha does offer some really nice bracelets for under 30 €.
Boutique at Galeries Lafayette : 40 Boulevard Haussmann, 75009 Paris.
